Teaching allowance

Please be aware that in order for CSQTC to pay teaching allowance, the following must be met:
  • GP Registrars and Practices should keep a tally of the Practice-based teaching hours that have occurred, including the number of 1-hour face-to-face sessions
  • Practices should submit a Monitoring Data and Teaching Log invoice to CSQTC on a monthly basis for subsidy and teaching allowance
  • Invoices must be submitted to CSQTC with a Monitoring Data and Teaching Log form for the period
    Payment rates (as at 14/2/11):
    • Hourly rate: $140 per hour + GST
    • Total for a GP Registrar's first 6 month (26 wk) placement (full-time)
      • 24 weeks x 3 hrs/wk = 72 hours x $140/hr = $10,080 + GST
    • Total for a GP Registrar's second 6 month (26 wk) placement (full-time)
      • 24 weeks x 1.5 hrs/wk = 36 hours x $140/hr = $5,040 + GST
    • Pro rata payments for part-time placements
