Registrar Liaison Officer

I have completed my first year of GP terms at Kedron in Brisbane and Middle Ridge in Toowoomba.  In 2010, along with my RLO role, I will be working part-time clinically in Brisbane and undertaking an Academic Registrar Post at Bond University.

As RLO, I can assist with your queries and concerns about all aspects of GP training, or direct you to someone who can.  Specifically, I will be able to provide assistance in the following areas:

• Advocacy and liaison - representation of GP Registrars to CSQTC
• Representation of GP Registrars to GP Registrars' Australia (GPRA)
• National Minimum Terms & Conditions (remuneration) for GP Registrars during training 
• General information and orientation for new and future Registrars
• Preparation for the RACGP exam
• Exam Study Groups
• Support for part-time Registrars
• Complaints, grievances and appeals

You will be hearing from me regularly via the CSQTC Chatter Newsletter.  I will be in the CSQTC office on Tuesday for contact by phone (07 3552 8100) or in person.  Otherwise, I will be checking my email (rlo@csqtc.qld.edu.au) several times per week.  Should your matter require urgent attention, please contact the CSQTC office where staff will be able to relay your message to me.
