Educational requirements
During your time in the training program with CSQTC there will be a variety of ways in which you learn more about general/rural practice. Not all of these are ‘structured’ learning situations (formative assessment). In fact, we believe that your greatest source of learning is your patients, followed closely by the interactions you have with other health professionals in the training practices. GP Registrars will successfully complete the educational (formative assessment) requirements of the AGPT by:
As part of the work-based term component of AGPT, formal in-practice education (practice-based teaching) will occur. CSQTC selected Training Practices will provide the following in-practice education in the first 12 months of general practice experience/primary rural and remote training:
