Hospital Information & Education Seminars

Applications for the AGPT 2014 Intake will open 10:00am 15 April 2013 and close 10:00am 17 May 2013.

AGPT National Assessment Centres will be run across Australia from 15 to 30 June 2013. Please keep an eye on the AGPT website for further updates.

AGPT/GP Career Information Seminars:

CSQTC's AGPT/GP Career Information Seminars for 2013 have now finished.
CSQTC conducts a series of AGPT/GP Career Information Seminars within all major hospitals in central and southern Queensland from March to May each year in the lead up to the following year's AGPT Intake. These seminars are conducted jointly with Queensland Rural Medical Education (QRME). Details and dates for these seminars will be published on this website as they are confirmed.
CSQTC also attends the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) Vocational Expo which is normally scheduled for in early May each year. Visit the Queensland Health website for more information.

Junior Doctor Hospital Education Seminars:
CSQTC continues to have a presence in the hospital system throughout the year via our involvement in some hospitals' RMO or Junior Doctor Education Programs. Our experienced Medical Educators deliver clinical education sessions on GP-related topics. We also sponsor these sessions and provide lunch. We have AGPT, Going Places Network and GP Careers information available at the sessions. Many of our education sessions are supported and co-sponsored by the Going Places Network. These sessions are held during the hospital's usual lunchtime education program and doctors should contact the Medical Education Office at the hospital for information regarding times.
